Pretty good. Don't challenge my skill of recall, but it seemed like there have been some somewhat less believable patches in the last 3 books, this inspite of Wells's uncanny writing trait of being so "air tight" so to speak. The book is so rich and airtight otherwise, though it's amazing. Also you tend to want to continue reading to see if certain things will be explained or resolved. Another great installment, it was. I'm dying to see how the series will end. Will the relationships remain as they are? Who will die? What will become of the secret with one of the children? Who will go illegal? Who will be filthy rich? This could go so many ways, and it's a long series. This series is a real find--- and I'm thrilled!Product details

I did mostly enjoyed this book. I thought this book as lacking in its twists and turns which I have gotten used to with Mike's books. This book was not the best of the series but I would not hesitate to recommend it to others
This entire series of books has been addictive reading. Honestly, I look forward to reading any and everything written by this author. He's one of my favorites.
This book is a very good read every page made me want to turn to the next page...five stars are appropriate for this book...the characters...especially Nick, Dymitri, Luna, Elaine, and of course the one eye criminal...recommending this book is very easy...I've told my family and friends about the whole series...October 14 th seems always off but I have no choice to wait...how do they get out of Sudan...we'll see...thanks for a good read
After the Cat breaks Elaine out of a black site, they join forces to take down Raj Malik. He has been buying diamonds from an illegal mine. Saline goes undercover to fool Stanley Ketchum, who does the mining, into revealing its location. Meanwhile Nick, not knowing the full story is trying to track her down. Mike Wells, once again delivers an "unputdownable" thriller.
A great series but I would read it in order. If possible start with book 1 . I guarantee that if you start the series you wil continue reading. They are inexpensive but quite short so you will have to decide for yourself if the cost per word is worth it or not. To me it is. The story has master criminal against master hunters.
Solidly entertaining. I started the first book after an offer on , and have been hooked on Mike Wells' writing ever since. Good story telling; fun and relatively easy reading. I wouldn't classify the series as great literature, but that's not what it's supposed to be. For pure entertainment, however, it's top notch.
Mike Wells has created several characters that develop through the series, and I find that I've become attached to many of them. At the end of every book, I look forward to the next one.
Mike Wells is an amazing writer. Lust, Money and Murder is my first adventure series and I have totally enjoyed the mystery, the suspense, the surprise and the total unpredictability. While the author is skilled at bringing new countries and characters to life through detail and presenting events as totally believable and reasonable, he does it in a way that is entertaining and is never dragging or boring.
While the main character is a female secret service agent, this is a book for men and women alike. The adventures, as the agent encounters an art heist, counter fitting and diamond smuggling, are rich with knowledge of many countries and cultures and rewarding with the wisdom of experiencing life from another's perspective.
If you have read the other 7 books in this series, you will be pleased with book 8. If you haven't read the series, I suggest you first read book 1 which is free on this site. You will be very engaged with the characters immediately.
